Alexis Hunt, a senior at Maria Carrillo High in California, placed second in the girls high jump final with a third-attempt clearance at 5-10 (1.77m) at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis. Hunt equaled Ashanti Elie of Rocklin Whitney High, but was edged based on fewer attempts.
